Primary species we target when charter fishing in Ocean City Maryland:
(the weather and moon cycles play a huge roll in the migration of these species, the periods below are averages.)

Flounder - usually appear in March or April and stay until late October to early November.
Tautog - available year round, however, the season is closed from May 16th to July 1st.
Black Sea Bass - available from May 15th to December 31st and are only targeted on our Ocean Wreck trips.
Grey Triggerfish - usually around beginning in mid June and stick around until the water temps drop below into the 60's.
Croaker - Usually around June through September
Sheepshead - usually arrive in late May and stick around until the Flounder leave in the fall.
Striped Bass - aka Rockfish hang around Ocean City all year long, keepers are more likely in the spring and fall.
Grey Sea Trout - aka Weakfish are usually around the bay from April to October.
Spotted Sea Trout - usually available from May until November.
Bluefish - usually show up in April and hang around until November.
